Laughter & joy....

OK I labeled this blog "laughter & joy" because ...

this was such a great family, full of energy, giggles, and lots of joy!!

I honestly couldn't wipe the smile off my face for a very long time after the shoot!!

I must be honest and tell you I was even cracking up while editing!

I hope a smile comes to your face as well!!

I will never forget how her face light up as she walked down the studio steps and saw all that was waiting JUST FOR HER!!!

Little Miss Princess Annika is a Little Heroe and recieved a special session!

We had originally planned on going down to "The River" but the wet and cold kept us inside!

We made the most of it and had fun playing dress up!!

Summer Lov'n....

Wow these few months have just gotten away from me....I've been having too much fun shooting all my fall sessions!!

Well I finally posted some favs from a wedding I shot back in August!!

This couple was just too cute for words and had a small but sweet wedding!

They also incorporated some lawn games and a pig roast for the reception!

Incidentally this was also the wedding that I came down with a BAD case of poison ivy the day after!!

Can you guess which shot was the culprit??

Goodmorning FALL....

What a good surprise for us this last weekend!!!

A good friend of ours brought his super sweet girlfriend home to MN to meet everyone!!

The morning before her flight left we headed to "The Barn" for a few quick shots!

SUPER easy to shoot and what a wonderful FALL morning it turned out to be!!

Sweet, Sweeter, & Sweetest....

I had the pleasure of meeting this SWEET, SWEET, SWEET family shooting their (at the time) newborn little girl!

Now 6monhts later....their little Princess is growing oh so big, but oh so cute!

I once again headed down to "The River" with them and got some Beautiful fall family shots!

Afterward we headed inside out of the chilly air and had some fun in the studio!

Baby Love....

What a beautiful baby girl this one is!!

I don't have much to say about this session as it went SO smoothly!

Mom and Dad wanted images of their little Princess with her eyes open ...which I must add are a beautiful blue!

And as soon as this little peanut was out we went to town and she was just perferct!

"Second Child Syndrome"....

This family was a hoot to shoot! LOL

Their very active 3 year old boy was such a ham and was a challenge to sit still!
As you can see from images below it made for some great silly family photos of THEIR family!
I always say that "I love to capture you as you are" and I think I captured their families personality perfectly!

The mother also told me she was feeling guilty of "second child syndrome"!
I asked her to explain and she said they have TONS of images of their first born but have been slacking on their second sons pictures!!
I laughed and told them we can do some shots of just their second son and maybe even just the three of them!
They were thrilled and I was happy we had perfect weather!!

Mamma's Boy....

A wonderful mother and her beautiful son had a session up at "The Barn"!
I've been dying to do a baby session at such a rustic place and finally the chance came!

When the fun ended and it was time for us to part, we all had very LARGE smiles on our faces because it went so well!

We talked about being a first time moms and the first time feelings you experience such as "pride in your child"!
I LOVE making new connections and being able to share with each other about parenting adventures!
I consider it a PERK of my job!
