Breakfast with Santa....

This little girl stole my heart!!
She was so sweet to bring a list for Santa Clause and was so elated that he was reading it!
She was smiling from ear to ear the whole morning!
I'm sure you recgonize this little girl?!!
She too was there and I couldn't resist taking some shots of my favorite client! .....and of course her brother wasn't sure about that man in red!
Ha ha ha! The one in red is my little girl! She wanted nothing to do with Santa, but the reingdeer were a hit with ALL the kids.
It turned out to be a great morning...
...sunshining, kids smiling, and bellies full with all the wonderful food!

Humble Display....

I'm kinda proud of my humble little display!! It got alot of attention at Rush Creek Country Club. They hired me to do Promo pictures for... BREAKFAST with SANTA!!
It was super fun and I got to bring my family along as well! I will post more picuters from the event in the next blog. Enjoy!

Naughty or Nice?!

Well I was in the studio a few times this week trying to get the "perfect" Christmas card picture. ARRGGHH....I swear it's so much easier to capture other's children then your own! But all in all I think I got a few good ones!! I am super happy that I got ONE were she is looking at me and smiling at the same time!!! She is the light of my life and I melt when she looks into my eyes and then smiles! I'm so glad I pressed the shutter button when I did!!

Big Red Juicyness....

I know it's another "sucker" blog but I couldn't resist the BIG RED JUICYNESS of it!!!
The holidays seem to be filled with stressess and worries over silly things really. If we take the time to see life through the EYES OF A CHILD......then a simple tootsie pop will be filled with wonder and amazment!!

Happy Holidays!!

Christmas Traditions....

Well this year my family has started some new traditions!! We not only tackled "Black Friday" but we also cut down our very first "real" Christmas Tree!! That's right it wasn't just a first for our daughter but it was a first for me and my husband!! Who knew trying to find that perfect tree was so hard!?!

Fairy girl

Not sure how these picture look on your computer screen?? My laptop makes the first one look kinda funny!! Oh well...I do my editing on my daughters computer!!! Ha Ha Ha go figure our kids get the best of the best while we do with out!
This little girl I have photographed since she was teeny tiny. She is so much fun and has the most amazing blue eyes! She was over today playing with my daughter and she wanted to dress up in all my fairy costumes. I told she could if she let me take some pictures of her...she agreed!

Butterfly poem.....

A Butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam. And for brief moment its glory and beauty belong to our world. But then it flies again and though we wish it could of stayed, we felt so lucky to have seen it. -unknown

ELLA HOPE

I write this blog with a heavy heart. I volunteer for an organization called "the littlest heroes project" and this is where I meet this brave family. Their little girl was diagnosed with a specific brain tumor that has no cure. I went to their house a few months ago to capture her and her family as they are. How sweet and full of life the time was with them. As I stated before there is no cure and Ella's health has taken a serious turn. If you are reading this blog I ask if you could please lift this family up in your prayers!! I can't imagine going through what they have gone throu this past year or even what they will experience these next few days. I am happy that I could be there to capture their family and give them memories to look back on! With all my HOPE and LOVE.....to you dearest ELLA!!

Edstrom wedding

This was my October wedding! The couple was so cute together! They had a traditional wedding at their church and a grand reception down town Minneapolis. We had fun at the stone arch bridge for pictures. Their wedding party was brave to stand out in the crisp fall breeze! The day went by too fast! Congrats you two!!

Robinson Family

This family was so cute! The mother was on crutches and couldn't move around that much ...she was brave to walk the terrain! The little boy was very interested in every building. He at one point found a large rope and called it his "snake" he wouldn't put it down and I got some great shots of how a 3 year olds imagination works!! The Mother and Father just wanted their sons pictures taken but I convinced them to do a family shot and some of just them. They were very happy they did!!
